Since 2014 Coventry Citizens Advice has been working in partnership with Coventry City Council to welcome over 1,000 new residents to Coventry to successfully settle peacefully in the city from across the world including Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen to name but a few.
In line with Coventry’s international reputation as a city of peace and reconciliation, the charity has been professionally supporting each client who has arrived through various Government approved programmes to make a new home for themselves and learn what life in the UK really means for each of them.
Anticipating a demand for independent and free advice from those resettling here, after fleeing Ukraine, the charity has now set up a dedicated advice contact line to help Ukrainian nationals when they arrive in the city.
The charity has access to translators and can be reached by calling 02476 252 067 Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 16:00. If calling outside of these times, a message can be left.
