Coventry residents can take advantage of a FREE Go CV card to help save £s on activities across the city.

Coventry residents who receive qualifying benefits can save even more by paying Go CV+ prices at many venues.

The Go CV card is a scheme managed by Coventry City Council and allows people that live in Coventry, particularly those on lower incomes, to enjoy leisure, learning and wellbeing activities at affordable prices or for free.

The Go CV card replaces the previous Passport to Leisure and Learning card by offering the same discounts for those on benefits as before, but also includes offers with other partners.

Councillor Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport said:

“During these uncertain times, it’s more important that we look after our health and wellbeing and the Go CV card helps Coventry families save money on these types of activities.
“Those that qualified for a Passport to Leisure and Learning can still get that same access to discounted services as before, but also enjoy the discounts offered by Go CV partners while carrying only one card. They just need to apply for and validate their benefits on their card to get the Go CV+ discount.
“As restrictions start to lift during the current COVID-19 pandemic, many of our offer venues are starting to safely re-open with many more planning to re-open again. The Go CV team is working hard to continue to bring Go CV card holders fantastic discounts, hopefully with even more to come.”

The free Go CV card scheme was launched in April 2019 and currently has 45,000 members.
